Q:We would like to know the best and most natural sleeping supplement or drops for our 2 year old. She has been waking up in the middle of the night and would stay awake for 1-1.5 hours. We would want to try to do a sleeping supplement or what have you. Also we are traveling in August and would like to know if this could be given to her before the flight so she would be relaxed and maybe sleep in the plane. There are too many organic and natural things out there.

Ans:  This is  best handled in a visit specifically for this issue. I have  a lot of questions:
1. What time does she go to bed? 2. Is she sleeping in her own room? 3. Is she eating dairy and gluten? 4. What is her bed time ritual? 5. How much activity does she have during the day? 6. Has she been Body Typed? (www.ohoseminars.com) 7. Has she been vaccinated?

There are supplements, but a 2 year old should not NEED a supplement to sleep. This is usually a behavior issue that will respond to behavior modification. Benadryl is the #1 thing we use for flights. If you are traveling across numerous time zones then Melatonin will help all of you adjust to the new zone and will help prevent jet lag (as will homeopathic Arnica).
